VERDICT: Clark v. Welch; in the 55th District Court of Harris County, Texas. Defense verdict in real estate dispute alleging seller fraud. Jury awarded Defendants $250,000 in attorney fees.
VERDICT: Baxter Oil Services v. Jones Oil, Inc.; in the 172nd District Court of Jefferson County, Texas. Take-nothing defense verdict for client in partnership dispute where plaintiff sought millions of dollars.
VERDICT: Wiggins v. Home Construction, Inc.; in the 55th District Court of Harris County, Texas. Take-nothing defense judgment post-verdict in dispute against custom home builder where plaintiff sought millions of dollars.
VERDICT: Tarango v. Ford Motor Company; in the 143rd District Court of Reeves County, Texas. $5,000,000 verdict against Ford Motor Company. Only jury verdict in United States history where both unintended acceleration and seat belt failure defects were proved in the same case.
VERDICT: Hogue v. Amigo Pipe & Equipment; in the 118th District Court of Glasscock County, Texas. $1,500,592.46 verdict against oilfield trucking company. Largest verdict of its kind in history of Glasscock County.
VERDICT: May v. Hruby; in the 412th District Court of Brazoria County, Texas. $2,205,000 verdict in favor of Plaintiff. Recognized as a 2012 Top Texas Verdict by Texas Lawyer Magazine. Largest known PTSD-only verdict in United States history.
VERDICT: Galindo v. ESCO; in the 112th District Court of Reagan County, Texas. $7,050,000 verdict in favor of Plaintiffs Sergio Galindo and Charles Bryant. Defendant voluntarily paid punitive damages claim before verdict.

Utilizing his uncommon experience from jury trials and arbitration hearings, Jeff has been able to resolve hundreds of disputes for both plaintiff and defense clients. In 2016, Jeff was trial counsel on a $19 million settlement in favor of Jeff’s client, the largest settlement of its kind in 2016 in Texas as reported by Texas Lawyer’s Top Verdicts & Settlements.
